Jeff - 13 Years of service

     Jeff lives in Lima, OH and has been with Continental Express for 16 years. Prior to working for CE, Jeff had been with another trucking company for seven years. He was laid off from that company, and he answered a classified advertisement he saw for CE. He has been loyal to CE because he says they offer the three most important things to him as a driver. "Continental Express pays well, they have nice equipment, and they keep freight in my wagon."

    He says that driving trucks long-distance is extremely hard work, but worth the bottom line. Jeff prefers to work with reefers because he believes they will always be in demand. He said that he knows that fresh food and goods will always be needed, so he knows that he will always be busy.

    Jeff has a grown son and is single. He enjoys reading and baseball. He says that satellite radio is the best thing to happen to drivers because it keeps him in touch with the world. He listens to news, talk shows, sports, and music.
