Continental's 1937 Ford 1 ½ Ton Flat Bed Truck

Directly inside the Continental Express lobby sits a 1937 Ford 1 ½ ton flat bed truck that was completely restored by our shop personnel.  This restoration project took approximately 9 months to complete.  The cab is painted its original washington blue color, with black fenders.  The majority of the truck, including the cab, frame, transmission and motor came from upstate New York.  The bed is also an original 1937 Ford stack bed.  The remainder of the truck, including the wheels, came from other various locations around the U.S., such as, Kansas, North Dakota and Nebraska.  Further, ALL of the VIN numbers on the vehicle match.  This means that the cab VIN number, the VIN number found on the frame and the Transmission match.  This is very rare for a vehicle of such an old age.
